Project Orion
U.S. Data Center Required Capacity
The U.S. is at a time where securing additional data and technical infrastructure has become increasingly important. In the U.S. alone, data center capacity is expected to almost double between 2025 and 2030.

A thoughtful approach to project development influenced by community feedback.

Reduced Sound and Code Compliance
The project will voluntarily operate in full compliance with the City of Granbury’s sound ordinance and will remain below the 65dBA limit at the property line. The existing bitcoin mining operation will be relocated within the project boundary with new buildings positioned between the mining facility and nearby residences to help reduce existing sound levels.
Minimal Traffic Impact
Project Orion is expected to generate minimal daily traffic. Operational traffic will be scheduled to avoid commuting and school hours whenever possible. Data center campuses primarily generate traffic from employees and occasional maintenance visits, with few truck deliveries during normal operations.

A typical data center produces up to 96% fewer daily vehicle trips than a comparable industrial facility.
PROPOSED PROJECT SITE
The project is ideally located in an established industrial corridor, adjacent to substantial power generation and transmission infrastructure, is aesthetically designed to complement the area and prioritized sound reduction.

not your typical data center: designed with aesthetics in mind
At Starwood Digital Ventures, our designs integrate sustainable landscaping, generous setbacks and visual buffering to complement its surroundings.

Powering Everyday Life in Hood County
From healthcare to public safety, data centers keep our community connected. Every telehealth visit, online class, ATM transaction and 911 call relies on data centers. This critical infrastructure will continue to support how Hood County residents live, work and stay safe.
